Os Estereótipos Sociais e as Narrativas na Construção das Identidades

Resumo

Os processos de interação na vida social são marcados pela maneira como as pessoas posicionam a si e ao outro, construindo-se diferentes identidades. Nas relações entre a sociedadade e as pessoas com necessidades especiais, é possível obserobservar que as chamadas: ";diferenças"; quase sempre prevalecem, marcadas por rotulações gerando verdadeiros estereótipos sociais. O objetivo deste artigo é propor uma reflexão a respeito de como as identidades sociais das pessoas com necessidades especiais, particularmente do deficiente visual,são construídas a partir da imagem negativa que tem por base valores cristalizados em nossa cultura e que se refletem, por exemplo, na literatura.

ABSTRACT

The interaction processes in social life are marked by the manner people place themselves and the others, building different identities. In the relations between society and the people with special needs, it is possible to observe that the so called ";differences"; almost always prevail, marked by labeling that generate true social stereotypes. The objective of this article is to purpose a reflection about the way the social identities of people with special needs are built from the negative image that has for basis crystallized values in our culture that reflect, for example, in literature.
